BA Global Talent is seeking an On-Site Supervisor(a) de Garantia e Controle da Qualidade (QC & QA Supervisor) for a leading pharmaceutical glass and packaging manufacturer expanding its operations in Atibaia, São Paulo, Brazil.

The QC & QA Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the facility’s quality management system, overseeing material and product quality controls, managing deviations and corrective actions, and ensuring that production, inspection, and warehouse activities comply with applicable Brazilian regulations and international quality standards.

This position reports directly to the Factory General Manager. English will be a working language, as the selected professional will communicate with the General Manager and international teams in English. Following onboarding, the employee will travel to China for approximately one month of company-sponsored training. Training, internal communications, SOPs, and equipment documentation will be provided in English.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and maintain SOPs, quality standards, batch records, and controlled documentation.

• Oversee incoming materials, in-process inspections, finished-product control, labeling, and product release.

• Manage deviations, CAPA, change control, OOS/OOT investigations, and quality-improvement actions.

• Monitor production, inspection, and warehouse areas for compliance with GMP and quality procedures.

• Support internal, supplier, customer, and regulatory audits.

• Review batch records, sample plans, retention samples, and product traceability activities.

• Investigate customer complaints and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.

• Support validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ.

• Train quality inspectors and collaborate with production teams, suppliers, and other departments.

Qualifications:

• Upper Intermediate (B2) English proficiency required. You should confidently communicate with international colleagues, participate in meetings, understand engineering documents, write clear emails and reports, and deliver technical presentations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Materials, Chemistry, Production, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of quality-management experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in pharmaceutical packaging, medical devices, glass manufacturing, sterile production, automated manufacturing, or a related regulated industry.

• Availability to travel to China for a 1-month training (company-sponsored).

• Knowledge of SOPs, GMP, CAPA, deviations, change control, validation, audits, and product release.

• Familiarity with Brazilian regulatory and manufacturing requirements, including ANVISA and applicable ISO standards.

Nice to have:

• Experience with pharmaceutical glass, vials, primary packaging, or ISO 15378.

• CREA registration or another applicable professional certification.

• Mandarin language skills.
