Bookkeeper (LATAM & The Caribbean)
BA Global Talent is seeking a detail-oriented and highly proficient Bookkeeper in Latam and the Caribbean to support our client's business operations. You will play a critical role in managing financial records and human resources functions, ensuring that accounting practices meet US standards and that internal team needs are met with professionalism and accuracy.

Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, manage invoicing, and ensure all records align with US accounting practices and tax basics.
Manage the full onboarding lifecycle for new contractors, including the preparation and collection of required forms and legal contracts.
Serve as the point of contact for internal HR questions regarding payments, leave requests (days off), and general administrative inquiries.
Maintain organized digital files for all financial and personnel-related records.
Apply a high level of attention to detail to all financial entries and administrative tasks to ensure 100% accuracy.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in administrative, HR, or accounting roles, with a proven track record of managing US-based financial workflows and contractor relations.
In-depth knowledge of US accounting practices and familiarity with US tax basics are essential.
A self-starter who anticipates team needs and takes initiative.
Exceptional proficiency in English is required, given the client's high standards.
Proven ability to manage complex records and schedules.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Gusto.
Experience with Notion, Google Docs, and Google Drive.
Familiarity with ChatGPT or Claude.
Candidates must be based in Latin America or the Caribbean.
Time Zone: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET.
Schedule: Full-Time. Candidates must be flexible with their hours to meet the evolving needs of the team and leadership.
Remote: From Latin America or the Caribbean.
