Google Apps Script Support Specialist
BA Global Talent is seeking a Google Apps Script Support Specialist in Latin America & The Caribbean to provide ongoing troubleshooting and maintenance for a newly developed, Google Scripts–based ERP system and its related planning dashboard.
This role is ideal for a technically strong, proactive professional who enjoys problem-solving and working within evolving systems. The ERP platform is built entirely within Google Sheets using Google Apps Script and is currently in early-stage testing. The selected candidate will play a key role in stabilizing performance, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality.

Responsibilities:
Provide troubleshooting and maintenance for a Google Apps Script–based ERP system and planning dashboard.
Diagnose and resolve system issues using both technical knowledge and in-house Gemini AI guidance (trained on the core script).
Address issues caused by human error (e.g., misspelled item names, incorrect transaction entries).
Monitor and maintain Google Sheet performance to prevent processing delays or timeouts.
Adjust and fix structural spreadsheet issues (e.g., moving tables, formatting corrections).
Identify weaknesses and improvement opportunities within the system.
Provide prompt solutions when the system encounters errors or becomes unresponsive.
Communicate clearly in writing and participate in occasional calls when needed.
Qualifications:
Experience working with Google Apps Script.
Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.
Familiarity with Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, related integrations).
Ability to interpret AI-generated guidance (Gemini AI) and apply it effectively to troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive mindset with the ability to independently explore and understand system architecture.
Comfortable working in an evolving environment with limited beta testing.
Strong written English communication skills.
Availability to coordinate within 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Iceland time (4:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST) when needed.
Nice To Have:
Previous experience supporting ERP systems.
Experience optimizing Google Sheets performance at scale.
Experience working in early-stage or startup environments.
Schedule: Hourly, on-demand engagement.
Time Zone: Flexible, with preferred availability during Iceland business hours (9 AM – 5 PM) when calls are required.
