BA Global Talent is looking for a qualified professional to join a dynamic team as a Full Stack Software Developer in Argentina or Colombia. You will contribute to the development and modernization of business-critical applications within a leading company in the appliances, electrical, and electronics manufacturing industry. You will work with both legacy systems and modern technologies, helping to ensure smooth operations while driving forward new software initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve legacy applications developed in Visual Basic 6 to ensure business continuity.
• Design, develop, and deploy new applications using Visual Basic .NET and ASP.NET technologies.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, including queries, stored procedures, and performance improvements.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues to deliver timely solutions.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer or internal queries.
• Contribute to web development and UI/UX enhancements, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
• Use tools like Freshdesk and TeamViewer to connect with customers, ensuring a professional and supportive experience.

Technical Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Visual Basic (VB6 and VB.NET).
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET web technologies.
• Microsoft SQL Server database management skills.
• Background in legacy code maintenance and modernization.
• Solid understanding of web development and UI/UX best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of software development experience.
  

• Familiarity with software support processes and customer-facing technical support.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
